The area owes its name to the Castle or Palace of Buddha, historical palace of the kings Hungarians, which is part of the heritage of humanity of Budapest, city famous for their houses and buildings in the baroque and the nineteenth century.

From this neighborhood, located about 200 meters above the Danube River and in the east of the same, can be envisaged a breathtaking views of the city and browse their streets to meet with beautiful facades and gothic buildings as the Plaza of the Holy Trinity and the Church of the Holy Virgin or Church of San Matias imposed in the middle of this.

They are also the Museum of Military History, the National Gallery of Art or Museum of Fine Arts in Budapest, the Opera House in Budapest and the bastion of fishermen and their famous funicular, which is part unmistakable of the landscape of the left of the Danube and played 140 years this week.
