The vice president of the Federation of Travel Agents, Matilde Torres, said yesterday that the national tourism remains the main animator tourism during these months in Spain, since the Spaniards have sought the beaches and have cut costs while avoiding going abroad.

After hearing the data of the National Institute of Statistics on hotel occupancy in the month of July, which fell by 5.5 percent compared to last year, Torres stressed to Europe Press Television that this moderation in the fall implies that “the trend of decline is changing.”

In this sense, argued that the behavior of the tourism sector is positive, taking into account “the situation so special market” and shows that Spain has “a tourism industry strong”.
